Crazy Boys - A Sock Yarn with Biodegradable Nylon

The delightfully spirited "Crazy Boys" name perfectly captures the wonderful unpredictability and vibrant character that transforms every project into an exciting adventure, whilst maintaining the exceptional standards that discerning crafters have come to adore from this treasured German wool mill.

Biodegradable Nylon

Since 2020, Schoppel has led the industry by reinforcing all sock yarns with Amni Soul Eco®—a biodegradable nylon that breaks down in just five years, providing excellent durability while ensuring environmental responsibility.

Certified Patagonian wool SchoppelDiscover Schoppel's exceptional Patagonian wool, sourced from pristine landscapes where sheep roam freely across vast grasslands. This unique environment naturally minimises pest issues, allowing for pesticide-free, mulesing-free wool production.

These sheep enjoy complete freedom, gathered only twice yearly for gentle shearing and health checks. The result? Wool with outstanding long fibres, impressive volume, remarkable softness and exceptional durability – which is why Schoppel exclusively choose Patagonian wool for their hand-knitting yarns.

Experience truly ethical, sustainable wool that makes a difference!
