Discover Léttlopi

Where iconic Icelandic wool is spun into a lighter yarn for garments you can wear with ease, indoors or out.

Léttlopi is one of the most versatile yarns in the Lopi family, loved for creating lighter knits that still hold all the warmth, character, and natural charm of Icelandic wool. Made from 100% Icelandic wool, it is especially well known for traditional Icelandic sweaters, yet it is equally lovely for all sorts of garments that need to feel comfortable, practical, and timeless.

At around half the thickness of Álafosslopi, Léttlopi creates fabric that is lighter in weight while still feeling properly woolly and full of life. It is a wonderful choice for sweaters and accessories that move beautifully between indoor and outdoor wear, making it a dependable favourite for knitters who love natural fibre with real substance.
