HOW TO HEADBAND - Free Knitting Pattern
A cosy ribbed headband with a double layer of warmth and step-by-step video support.
Keep your ears cosy with the HOW TO HEADBAND, designed by Kim May Büchel (@letitbeknit) for LANGYARNS.
This knitting pattern uses a simple knit 2, purl 1 rib to create a stretchy, comfortable fit. Knitted in the round and folded double, the headband has a neat finish, with the cast-on and cast-off edges joined together on the inside.
Knitted in LANGYARNS MERINO+, it’s a lovely project for cooler days and a thoughtful handmade gift. The pattern comes in one flexible size, fitting head circumferences of approximately 48–60cm.
A video tutorial accompanies the pattern to guide you through the construction and finishing.

Please Note
This is a digital knitting pattern download, not a finished headband. You will need yarn, needles, and basic knitting notions to complete the project.
You can substitute a yarn of a similar weight, provided your tension matches the pattern. Knit a tension swatch before you begin to check the fit.
