Eucalan Delicate Wash: Gentle Care for Woollens

Keep your woollens looking and feeling their best with Eucalan Delicate Wash in Jasmine. This gentle, natural formula is perfect for hand-washing all your delicate garments, including wool, cashmere, alpaca, and other natural fibres.

Key Features:

  • Protects & Cleans: Effectively removes dirt and grime while retaining the natural softness and elasticity of your woollens.
  • Lanolin-Enriched: Contains lanolin, a natural oil found in sheep's wool, to help condition fibres, prevent static, and repel dust mites.
  • No Rinse Formula: Simply wash and lay flat to dry – no need for a final rinse, saving time and water.
  • Naturally Fragrant: Enjoy the subtle, calming scent of jasmine.
  • Gentle & Effective: Made with plant-based ingredients, making it gentle on your skin and kind to the environment.
  • Versatile: Ideal for hand-washing and blocking finished knitted and crochet projects, as well as washing delicate lingerie and silks.

How to To Use:

  • Check for colour fastness: Always test a hidden area of your garment before washing.
  • Fill a basin with lukewarm water: Use approximately 1 litre of water for every 5ml of Eucalan.
  • Add Eucalan and garment: Gently agitate the water to disperse the Eucalan.
  • Squeeze gently: Do not wring or rub the garment. Allow it to soak for 5-10 minutes.
  • Lay flat to dry: Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources.

    About Eucalan

Eucalan is a family owned and operated company in Canada.

Pronounced yOO-kuh-lan - the name being a combination of two of the prominent ingredients from the original product formula - eucalyptus and lanolin.

Suitable for hand-washing woollens, delicate fibres and fabrics.

Eucalan is also suitable for machine washing (in both top and front lading machines) - although at McIntosh we recommend only hand-washing for woollens.

McIntosh is a boutique hand-dyed wool and haberdashery company based in London.
I’m James McIntosh, a one person business.
I hand-dye all the wools to order and personally pack every knitting and crochet item sold and send them to McIntosh customers all over the world - in plastic-free, 100% recyclable and FSC® certified packaging - naturally.
