Clover began when Toshio Okada, aged 14, worked for a needle wholesaler. Using a clover leaf as a bookmark inspired the name. In 1925 he opened his own needle shop, later expanding into manufacturing.

Today Clover, based in Osaka, Japan, produces knitting and crochet tools to exacting standards, guided by the philosophy: “Make people around the world happy through handmade.” Their factory, ISO 14001 certified for low environmental impact, upholds strict quality control, while the company also champions diversity and equality within its workforce.

Great when you have to put stitches on a spare needle. Put them on one end and take them off the other end. They are also very secure, no risk of the holder coming undone and the stitches falling off.

Thank you so much for your order and kind words.

Thought the idea of a double ended holder was great. But when I used it I found it to be quite cumbersome and bulky when separating my sleeves and found that I couldn’t actually join and knit the stitch on the opposite side even though some stitches are cast on. Maybe it was me.! However I think I will stick to my normal method of holding stitches. The holders themselves are of a good quality and well made though.

Exactly what I was looking for, a reliable stitch holder after a failure with my very old one left lots of lace weight stitches hanging. Not fun
