Lantern Moon Grace Review – Compact Interchangeable Knitting Needles with Everyday Elegance
The Lantern Moon Grace set may be smaller than some of the other collections, but it is every bit as beautiful and thoughtfully designed. Opening the embroidered khadi silk case reveals five pairs of ebony tips polished to perfection. Refined, elegant and practical, it is a set for times when you do not need a huge range of needles but still want quality at your fingertips.
First Impressions – Smooth and Comfortable
The 10cm ebony tips are a pleasure to hold. Lantern Moon’s “liquid silk” finish feels smooth, warm and snag-free. I have used them with both fine yarns and slightly heavier wools, and stitches glide easily without splitting. The tips are well shaped, sharp enough for lace and cables but gentle enough for everyday knitting comfort. Straight away, I noticed the difference compared with ordinary needles.
Why Knitters Value This Set
The Grace set includes five sizes, from 3.00mm to 5.00mm, an ideal range for everyday projects. The 24k plated connectors provide seamless joins, while the 360° swivel cords in 40cm and 50cm lengths are especially suited for hats, socks and baby knits. The swivels prevent cables from twisting, making knitting smoother and more enjoyable.
Everyday Knitting Experience
The extras complete the set with thoughtful touches: wooden end caps, tightening tools and cheerful tassel stitch markers. The khadi silk case is compact, protective and machine-washable, keeping it beautiful and practical even after regular use. It slips easily into a knitting bag, making it travel-friendly as well.
Final Thoughts – Graceful in Every Way
The Lantern Moon Grace set may be the smallest in the collection, but it has quickly become one of my favourites. Compact, elegant and beautifully made, it is the set I reach for in everyday knitting when I want the process to feel as graceful as the finished project itself.
