Seeknit CURVE Koshitsu First Interchangeable Needle Set 12.5cm
A beautifully considered introduction to the CURVE system, bringing together interchangeable needle tips, cables and accessories in one versatile set. Designed around commonly used needle sizes, it offers a practical and refined foundation for a wide range of circular knitting projects.
Developed by Seeknit with comfort and ease of use in mind, the CURVE Koshitsu range combines elegantly shaped bamboo tips with smooth connections and durable fittings. Each component is designed to work seamlessly together, creating a knitting experience that feels natural, balanced and effortless.
The 12.5cm Koshitsu needle tips are made from carefully selected bamboo and undergo a specialised high-pressure and heat treatment to increase their strength and durability. They are then polished with natural plant wax, helping to protect the bamboo while creating an even, beautifully smooth surface. This treatment also helps prevent the needles from warping over time.
Lightweight and pleasantly warm to the touch, the bamboo tips sit comfortably in the hand. The seamless transition between the needle tip and screw fitting allows stitches and yarn to move smoothly without catching, while the swivel cable connection lets the tips rotate freely to help prevent twisting and kinking as you work.
The First set includes needle tips from 2.75mm to 5.00mm, making it particularly well suited to everyday knitting, from accessories and finer garments to a wide variety of circular projects. The included cable joints and stoppers give you added flexibility, allowing cables to be extended or adapted to suit different project requirements.

When folded, the storage case measures approximately 14.5 x 18.5cm and closes neatly with an elastic band, keeping the full system organised and easy to carry.
Screw sizes
The CURVE system uses two different screw sizes depending on the needle size:
- M1.8 for needle sizes 2.00-3.25mm
- M2 for needle sizes 3.50-10.00mm
The screw size of your chosen needle tip determines which cable, cable stopper and cable joint should be used.

Please note
The new Seeknit CURVE range uses M1.8 and M2 screw fittings. Existing M4 cables cannot be connected directly to CURVE needle tips.
Existing Seeknit needle tips and fittings with an M4 screw size can, however, be used with CURVE cables when a suitable adapter is placed between the needle tip and cable.
