Customer Reviews

What a lovely tailored experience this has been to purchase from James. He exudes passion, knowledge and most of all makes you feel so valued and worthy from not even being in a store environment. I would highly recommend purchasing from James. He's replied to my Mum's questions within minutes and was very helpful.

Great online purchase experience. Personal and good communication throughout. Many thanks.

Very easy to order on the website and customer service is first class.

I love the way I shop at McIntosh. It's great to communicate with a real person that understands knitting. It's so much more accessible than the large faceless companies

I can really recommend this sight it’s very easy to use and it’s independently owned, and he seems a very nice guy who runs this company. You get very nice updates and he tells you all about himself and how he started out.

Brilliant products and great service!

Best knitting needles I've purchased in a long time

Personable customer service. An excellent product line for a small business. My order was received promptly and was well packaged. Would highly recommend McIntosh to my fibre friends and family. Thank you James for all your help.😊 Now I'm just waiting for my yarnie piggy bank to have the funds for my next purchase 😀🧶

Whenever I shop at Mcintosh,I know I will hear back from them straight away, and thereafter I will have a step by step account of the progress of my goods.James personally answers any queries which is very good as you feel you matter as a person not just a customer. Thank you

Great service. The website is well laid out and the order was fulfilled promptly. I've already bought twice from McIntosh and will happily buy again.

Great service in sourcing yarns not originally offered and later in arranging dispatch to suit.

yarn ordered, July 30,2026, was exactly what I wanted! The colors, black, gold and red stripes, are very difficult to find, I'm anxious to knit the socks! Since I am in the USA I needed some help from James to complete the order and the help was immediate. Shipping was more than I anticipated, but for a special person, was doable. Linda Decker.

Just what I was looking for will be ordering more in bigger sizes
