Schoppel Norweger Yarn - Traditional Nordic Yarn with Authentic Heritage and Biodegradeable Nylon

The distinguished "Norweger" name perfectly honours timeless Nordic traditions and robust character that discerning knitters treasure from this revered German wool mill, featuring authentic texture and classic Norwegian-inspired colour-ways.

Wool of Germany certified logoSCHOPPEL'S exceptional Alb Zauber Norweger yarn celebrates its proud heritage from the Swabian Jura mountains of Germany — locally known as the "Schwäbische Alb". Jura or "Alb" honours these magnificent mountains and "Zauber" (Magic) captures the essence of this extraordinary regional yarn. This stunning landscape not only inspires the name but infuses the very quality of each skein, transforming local wool into something truly magical for those who experience the joy of crafting with genuine Swabian wool from Schoppel.

Outstanding Features

  • Authentic Swabian wool: Sourced directly from the rolling hills of the Schwäbische Alb
  • Double-twisted structure: Creates lively, marled patterns whilst enhancing the natural character of this regional wool
  • Supremely soft yet durable: Traditional German craftsmanship blends wool with biodegradable nylon for lasting quality
  • Unique colour transitions: Each skein reflects the vibrant landscape of the Swabian Jura
  • Truly sustainable: Supporting local shepherds and traditional wool production methods
