Clover Darning Needles with Latch Hook Eye: Effortless Threading for Bulky Yarns

Simplify your finishing work with Clover’s Darning Needles featuring a clever latch hook eye. Designed for bulky and multi-ply yarns, these needles make threading and weaving frustration-free, so you can focus on enjoying your craft.

Why Crafters Love Clover Latch Hook Darning Needles

  • Effortless threading: The latch hook eye opens and closes securely, holding yarn in place as you stitch.
  • Perfect for bulky yarns: Handles thick or multi-strand fibres with ease, eliminating the struggle of small needle eyes.
  • Durable construction: Sturdy steel design resists bending and ensures long-lasting use.
  • Convenient pack: Includes 2 needles, providing a spare for larger projects.

Perfect For

Ideal for repairing knitwear, darning socks, or weaving in ends on chunky and tapestry-weight projects. These innovative needles make even the thickest yarns manageable.

Built to Last

Crafted from high-quality steel to Clover’s exacting standards, these needles deliver smooth stitching and dependable durability across project after project.

Clover Logo

Clover began when Toshio Okada, aged 14, worked for a needle wholesaler. Using a clover leaf as a bookmark inspired the name. In 1925 he opened his own needle shop, later expanding into manufacturing.

Today Clover, based in Osaka, Japan, produces knitting and crochet tools to exacting standards, guided by the philosophy: “Make people around the world happy through handmade.” Their factory, ISO 14001 certified for low environmental impact, upholds strict quality control, while the company also champions diversity and equality within its workforce.
