light as air and warm to wear

As featured in The Knitter Magazine Issue 185.

Designed by celebrated knitwear designer Jacinta Bowie exclusively for The Knitter Magazine.

Wonderfully soft and light yet surprisingly warm, this jumper uses a lace-weight suri alpaca-silk yarn called ffluff, which is hand-dyed in a range of 'sweetshop' colours.

The jumper is knitted in stocking stitch with panels of lace rib around the cuffs, the scoop neckline and the split-level hems. The sleeves are balloon style, with a gathered sleeve-head at the shoulder.

The jumper is available in 8 sizes to fit bust sizes 82 - 139 cm (32 1/2 - 54 1/2 in).

An intermediate knit.

A FREE copy of The Knitter Magazine featuring the pattern with every purchase.

This kit contains:

  • Free copy of The Knitter Magazine Issue 185 worth £7.99
  • 3-5 x 50g skeins of ffluff by McIntosh in colourway of your choice - image is ‘Parma’
  • 1 x McIntosh cotton project tote bag worth £10
  • 1 x McIntosh sew-in label with care instructions
  • Free UK postage

A note on colour: as yarn colours vary in different lighting conditions and electronic screens vary too, there may be a slight variation in the product colour. As all of our yarn is hand-dyed, each batch is as unique as you are.

Care instructions: hand wash in cool water and lay flat to dry.

Returns: we want you to be thrilled with McIntosh. If not, we will refund or change your yarn within 60 days.  Simple.
