Installation Instructions

To securely attach the tension guide to your AddiExpress knitting machine:

1. Open the golden thread holder of the machine
2. Position the tension guide in the thread holder at a slight angle, ensuring the bump on the underside sits precisely in the hole of the golden thread holder
3. Feed the yarn out through the upper opening of the golden thread holder, then thread it through at least one hole of the transparent yarn tensioner

Tips for Optimal Results

Important: Always guide the yarn out through the upper opening of the golden thread holder. Threading under the flap will create excessive tension.

• Maintain gentle tension when cranking to achieve an even stitch pattern
• Never allow tension to become too high - if you hear loud cracking noises or find the cranking difficult, remove the yarn from the tensioner
• Be cautious with knots - thicker yarn knots won't fit through the holes and will require temporarily removing the yarn from the thread tensioner

For Finer Yarns

• If yarn tension remains too low even when using the smallest hole, thread the yarn through multiple holes in succession to increase tension
