Black Forest Scarf Knitting Kit

CALM by McIntosh Logo

An excellent kit for beginners to explore Fair Isle knitting, as each row has a maximum of only 2 colours. All stitches are clearly explained in the accompanying pattern and charts to make a wonderfully soft scarf using CALM by McIntosh.

  • Pattern for 2 finished sizes: 22cm x 165cm or 29cm x 142cm.
  • 3.5mm / USA size 4 and 4mm / USA size 6 knitting needles required.
  • Scarf is edged in garter stitch to prevent curling.

Kit contains:

  • 4 x 50g (150m) individually hand-dyed CALM cakes in the colour-ways of Morello, Dragon Fruit, Santa Rosa Plum and Almond.
  • Downloadable PDF pattern in English.
  • McIntosh tote bag.
  • McIntosh label with care instructions.

CALM by McIntosh is a luxurious blend of Extra Fine Merino at only 16 microns spun with pure cashmere.

Pattern download: after purchase, you will be sent an email with a link to download the pattern.

A note on colour: as yarn colours vary in different lighting conditions and electronic screens vary too, there may be a slight variation in the product colour. As all of our yarn is hand-dyed, each batch is as unique as you are.

Care instructions: hand wash in cool water and lay flat to dry.

Returns: we want you to be thrilled with McIntosh. If not, we will refund or change your yarn within 60 days.  Simple.
