An exclusive McIntosh knitting kit
This double-layered beanie has a woolly outer layer and a buttery soft alpaca silk lining, giving it a really snug, cosy fit.
Knitted in the round with two strands of yarn held together, it starts with a provisional cast-on, allowing it to be worked in one piece. Once the outer layer is done, the live stitches are returned to the needle so the lining can be worked in the other direction, creating a sealed tube.
An intermediate knitting kit in 2 sizes:
Kit contains:
Knitting Needles
Options are available for the addition of fixed circular needles or double pointed needles to be added to the yarn kit.
BFL by McIntosh is a luxurious British wool composed of 100% British Bluefaced Leicester and is accredited as a 100% British Wool by British Wool.
ffluff by McIntosh is a stunning blend of 75% baby Suri alpaca spun together with 25% Grade A Mulberry Silk.
Knitting from a skein: wind each skein into a ball before knitting. We recommend leaving the wool in skein form until prior to knitting to protect the fibre tension.
Pattern: after purchase, you will be automatically sent a PDF download of the pattern.
A note on colour: as yarn colours vary in different lighting conditions and electronic screens vary too, there may be a slight variation in the product colour. As all of our yarn is hand-dyed, each batch is as unique as you are.
Care instructions: hand wash in cool water and lay flat to dry.
Returns: we want you to be thrilled with McIntosh. If not, we will refund or change your yarn within 60 days. Simple.
