The Seeknit CURVE Koshitsu Interchangeable Needle Set S 10cm is a refined bamboo knitting needle system designed for finer yarns and projects where shorter needle tips offer greater flexibility. Compact and comfortable to work with, the 10cm tips provide excellent control while making it easier to work on smaller circumferences.

Crafted by the Japanese company Kinki Amibari, the CURVE Koshitsu needle tips are made from carefully selected bamboo and undergo a specialised high-pressure and heat treatment to enhance their strength and durability. Each tip is polished with natural plant wax, creating a smooth, softly tactile surface that allows stitches to glide effortlessly while helping maintain even, consistent tension.

The defining feature of the CURVE system is the seamless transition between the bamboo tip and the stainless steel fitting. Combined with the swivel cable connection, this thoughtful design helps prevent twisting and kinking, allowing your knitting to move naturally and uninterrupted.

At 10cm in length, the shorter needle tips are particularly well suited to smaller circular projects while remaining comfortable and precise in the hand.

Important information

The Seeknit CURVE system uses two screw sizes:

M1.8 for needle sizes 2.0–3.25mm
M2 for needle sizes 3.5–10.0mm

This set uses the M1.8 system and is compatible with CURVE needle tips and accessories using the M1.8 screw size.

CURVE components are not directly compatible with M4 cables. Existing M4 components can be used with CURVE cables when combined with the appropriate adaptor.

Lace work, fine yarn projects, socks, sleeves, hats, baby garments and other circular knitting projects where smaller needle sizes and shorter tips provide greater flexibility and control.

Thank you for your review. SEEKNIT needle tips are beautifully crafted from natural Moso bamboo, so variations in colour and grain are part of what makes each needle unique. These natural differences highlight the authentic character of the bamboo and do not affect the needles’ quality or performance.

This set is a must buy, then you can add the other needles and cords in the range as you see fit.
I am of the opinion that these needles and cords are a great value for money given the quality. I really enjoy knitting with them and they have quickly become my go to set. They are so silent and smooth to knit with. They have no irritating join, just a seamless brass metal connector. The cords don’t twist or bend, but rather they keep there shape without being rigid or kinked. LOVE THEM!

I found the join between the needle and the cable to be quite a steep angle so the yarn doesn’t run smoothly over the join.

Mi first time with Seeknit needles. I love it!

The bamboo used in the needle tips is lovely and smooth to the touch - obviously necessary for snag resistance. The reason that I chose this set is because the needle tips are smaller than usual and also the sizes go down to 2mm which also seems to be unusual here in the UK. Finally I love the beautiful good quality cotton case. I only have one small reservation which is the use of plastic for the needle slots - partly because of environmental concerns but also because I worry that it might go brittle and crack over time.
