Wool of Germany certified logoSwabian Jura products boast exceptional durability and comfort. For over a decade, Schoppel have sourced merino wool from this region, ensuring minimal transport routes and an excellent ecological footprint.

Sheep farming for textile use is becoming increasingly viable as part of climate protection initiatives. Combined with innovative dyeing techniques and biodegradable nylon, these yarns offer remarkable durability and versatility for all your creative projects. Virgin wool refers to the softest wool from a sheep - that of it's first sheering.

Outstanding Features

  • Double-twisted structure: Creates lively, marled patterns whilst enhancing the natural character of this regional wool
  • Supremely soft yet durable: Traditional German craftsmanship blends wool with linen for lasting quality
  • Unique colour transitions: Each ball reflects the vibrant landscape of the Swabian Jura
