The Seeknit Koshitsu Interchangeable Circular Needle Premium Set 10cm is a versatile and beautifully engineered bamboo knitting needle system, designed for makers who value flexibility, precision, and refined craftsmanship. Bringing together a comprehensive range of interchangeable needle tips, cables, and accessories, it offers a complete solution for circular and adaptable knitting.

Developed by the Japanese company Kinki Amibari, the Koshitsu range undergoes a specialised high-pressure and heat treatment that enhances the natural strength of bamboo. Each needle tip is then polished with natural plant wax, creating a smooth, softly tactile surface that allows stitches to glide effortlessly while maintaining control and consistent tension.

The 10cm needle tips provide a balanced and comfortable working length, particularly suited to a wide range of circular knitting projects. With interchangeable cables, connectors, and end stoppers, the set allows you to adjust your tools to suit each project, offering both flexibility and efficiency in one cohesive system.

Important information

When assembling the interchangeable circular knitting needles, the cable length must be at least as long as both needle tips combined.

Always match components by thread size:

M1.8 for needle sizes 2.0–3.25mm
M2 for needle sizes 3.5–5.0mm
M4 for needle sizes 5.5–10.0mm

Components with the same thread size connect directly. Different thread sizes can be joined using an adaptor.

Thank you for your review. SEEKNIT needle tips are beautifully crafted from natural Moso bamboo, so variations in colour and grain are part of what makes each needle unique. These natural differences highlight the authentic character of the bamboo and do not affect the needles’ quality or performance.

This set is a must buy, then you can add the other needles and cords in the range as you see fit.
I am of the opinion that these needles and cords are a great value for money given the quality. I really enjoy knitting with them and they have quickly become my go to set. They are so silent and smooth to knit with. They have no irritating join, just a seamless brass metal connector. The cords don’t twist or bend, but rather they keep there shape without being rigid or kinked. LOVE THEM!

I found the join between the needle and the cable to be quite a steep angle so the yarn doesn’t run smoothly over the join.
I didn’t enjoy using these.

Mi first time with Seeknit needles. I love it!

The bamboo used in the needle tips is lovely and smooth to the touch - obviously necessary for snag resistance. The reason that I chose this set is because the needle tips are smaller than usual and also the sizes go down to 2mm which also seems to be unusual here in the UK. Finally I love the beautiful good quality cotton case. I only have one small reservation which is the use of plastic for the needle slots - partly because of environmental concerns but also because I worry that it might go brittle and crack over time.
